Jerry Seinfeld stars in this television comedy series as himself, a comedian. The premise of this sitcom is Jerry and his friends going through everyday life, discussing various quirky situations, to which we can all relate (especially if we live in New York City). The eccentric personalities of the offbeat characters who make up Jerry's social circle contribute to the fun.

What’s a good way to break someone new into Seinfeld? Season 1, Ep 1 through the last Episode? Or pick and choose classic episodes so they can see the characters at their best?

Now that I have fulfilled my life dream of owning a Seinfeld Lego set, I'm going to attempt over the next few months, to recreate one memorable scene from each episode (where apartment scenes are available). Will try one a day, no promise S01E01: "The Seinfeld Chronicles" aka "Good News, Bad News"

I’ve been watching Seinfeld since it aired but I only watch seasons 2 - 7. The 1st season the characters weren’t really developed and 8 & 9 George went from being insecure neurotic to angry neurotic while Elaine went from cute to stern/mature. Season 8-9 scripts weren’t close to LD seasons.

(media) Seinfeld FunFact: in S2E9 "The Deal", George gifts $91 cash to Elaine for her birthday. When adjusted for inflation from when the episode premiered in 1991, that's $184 today and still nothing to sneeze at.

Episode 9 of season 2 “the deal” has to be one of the greatest Seinfeld episodes

S3E10 or E11: anybody notice the “live sex show” sign in the beginning roll? Thought it was a bit dirty for Seinfeld. The episode where George drags Jerry and Elaine out to his co-worker’s house party on Long Island.

Seinfeld season 3 episode 17: The Boyfriend. The episode references the JFK assassination. The episode aired in 1992, 29 years after JFK was shot. And it has now been 29 years since that episode aired.

(media) S3 E20 "The Letter" : Elaine says she has never seen an uncircumcised penis. S5 E5 "The Bris" : Elaine confirms she has in fact seen an uncircumcised penis. I wonder if r/Seinfeld deduce who the uncut boyfriend was between these two conversations.

(media) I was watching season 5 episode 7 (the non-fat yogurt) of Seinfeld today and noticed they refer to Mayor Dinkins several times through this episode instead of Guillani ? Yet Guilliani appears at the end of the episode. Am I misremembering the original episode or did Netflix change it?
